The Alpine Tunnel

Jim Kitch has been going to the Alpine tunnel for years. He went in back in the 60's before it was sealed up.

| You may not want to try the Alpine tunnel road in a mininvan. It is passable and we did it. We had to move some rocks in the rain. We stayed in Crested Butte and went from the Gunnison side. It was a nice day trip. |
